I was ranked a "D" on the DISC personality gauge. I think this D describes me pretty well. I am an aggressive, strong-willed, and sometimes even stubborn person. I try to convince others to view things through my perspective rather than sit down and rationalize (unless I really have to).
At this point in my life, I am content with being a "D." I think all young people should be "D" because we should be dominant and be aggressive in order to strive for our dreams. I don't think it's a good idea for anyone to wait till they're over the hill to start hustling and being dominant.
However, I do believe that a person can change. For example, as I mature and get older, I will obviously change my view on the world and change my method of dealing with problems. Depending on what stage of life I am in, I think I would score differently on this DISC test.
But for now, I am definitely a "D," no doubt about it.

yeah tai.. you're a D.. but I think you're equally conscientious and steady. It's think it's important to keep a balance of everything, that way you can work well with everyone. I ranked high in being Conscientious- which is true to my nature, but like i said, I prefer to be well balanced. Now I know how tests like these evaluate me- I can hopefully use it to become a better person- and learn from the comments from the results.
So with that said, I don't think that its true how everyone should be dominant- everyone is different, and can accomplish their goals differently. Being dominant doesn't necessarily reflect success. But of course, I do hope that your dominance skills will bring you far, especially since it's very useful in your anticipated career path.
ya, you are a "D", by reading your blogger, I can feel you have all the characteristics of "D" type. I think not every young people need to be a "D" type, only those who want to be a leader, "D" type will definitely ease their way to become a leader.
According to the DISC profile test, we belong to a similar category, that is D. About the accuracy, I think the test did evaluate my personality type right as well. I have no idea, how it does it but it did. I also agree that if we want to get someplace, we have to go by dominating others, but don't you think influencing and convincing others that your are better a better type than dominance. Dominating others doesn't mean you won others, you just did better than them. So lets not go about thinking that we better than all of us. Each category have its own way of being better. Some are better at something and some are better at something. I also agree that our personality can be changed over time. It requires alot of challenges and efforts, it may be D today and something else tomorrow. Lets hope for the best, and good luck achieving your dreams...

It really interests me to read your blog. As far you mentioned it is good to be aggressive but, would not be good most of the time. Sometimes being aggressive even has to be paid much. so, be careful.
